Ten day workshop on video editing and print designing

A ten-day free workshop on Video Editing and Print Designing was inaugurated by the Journalism and Mass Communication Department of Shri Ram College Muzaffarnagar. The workshop will be organized till June 17. This workshop is open for Journalism and Mass Communication students as well as 12th and graduate students.Students who wish to participate can come to the college and register free of cost in the department. In the ten-day workshop, Faisal Khan of MJMC final year and Neeraj of BJMC final year participated in the ten-day workshop. Kumar and Mohammad Danish taught the tricks of print media designing and video editing to the students of JMC on the first day of the workshop and made them aware about skill development.

On the fourth day of the ten-day workshop, Faisal Khan explained in detail the technical points related to print media designing to the students of JMC. He explained to the students in detail the use and importance of Quark Express and CorelDraw in print media designing. Through the medium, designing of print advertising template leaflets is done as well as it is also helpful in designing of visiting cards, wedding cards etc.

The second session of the workshop on the fourth day was video editing. In this session, BJMC final year student Neeraj Kumar gave detailed information to the students of JMC on the basic principles of video editing. He explained the use of video editing software Adobe Premiere and its importance. Also told in detail the same final year student Mohd. Danish gave short cut of editing tools video editing to the students and power point presentation on video cropping.

On this occasion, Ravi Gautam, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, while giving information about the workshop, said that this workshop is open for Journalism and Mass Communication students as well as 12th and graduate students.Students willing to participate can come to the college and the department free of cost. You can register. He told that the first objective of the workshop is to develop the skills of the students of BJMC and MJMC and make them employable. He said that the second objective of this workshop is to develop the art of learning and teaching among the final year students Along with increasing their self-confidence, they had to develop leadership skills. He told that the third and important objective of the workshop is to make the students of journalism and mass communication aware about the importance of employment-oriented education and to develop mental capacity in relation to developing media house and professional culture. There are limitless opportunities for students in the media field. Therefore, this workshop has been organized for the students. He said that this is a free workshop which is open to all. 12th and graduate students can also take advantage of the workshop by participating in this workshop. On this occasion, the spokesperson of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Shivani Burman, Mayank Verma and Kahkasha Mirza, etc. teachers were present.
