The second day of the two-day annual event "Clerks-2025" organized at Shriram Group of Colleges started with great colourful programs.
The participants who were presenting for two days in the annual colourful programs going on in the playground of Shriram College were awarded on the basis of their merit. On the second day of the program also, the students of the college gave a strong performance with enthusiasm.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, Vice Chancellor Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, Professor Vimala Y and Meerapur MLA Mithlesh Pal, former Municipal Council Chairman Anju Agarwal, the program was presided over by District Panchayat President Dr. Veerpal Nirwal and special guests included SP leader Rakesh Sharma, President, Shri Ram College of Law TS Rawat, Director IIMTT, Saharanpur Dr. Anju Walia, senior social worker Ashok Batla, Namrata Tyagi, Kameshwar Tyagi, Lavanya Arora, Nishant Jain, Gyani Guruvachan Singh, Hotilal Sharma, Asad Farooqui, Shahar Qazi Tanveer Alam and Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Secretary of Shri Ram Group of Colleges Sankalp Kulshrestha, Mukta Kulshrestha, Anju Chaudhary, President of Shri Ram College Dr. Poonam Sharma, Treasurer, Devendra Chaudhary, Dr. Purushottam etc. jointly lit the lamp.
Today's cultural programs started with the students of Polytechnic presenting Ganesh Vandana in a traditional manner. After this, Jyoti, a student of Commerce Department, enthralled the guests and students present in the program by dancing on the song 'Ghoomar-Ghoomar'. After this, Neelam, a student of Fine Arts Department, performed a rocking dance on the song 'Morni Baago Mein Bole' and received a lot of praise from all the guests and spectators present in the ground. After this, Shohel Alam, a student of Business Administration, performed a solo dance on the song 'Kabhi Aasan Kabhi Mushkil' and attracted the attention of the people present in the ground. The students of Computer Application Department made the atmosphere devotional by performing a dance drama on the theme 'Har-Har Mahodav'. The students of Bioscience Department filled all the students with enthusiasm by presenting a group dance on the song Bansi Bajaiyan. After this, the students of Journalism and Mass Communication department presented a musical act on the theme of Acid Attack and a very impressive dance drama which surprised and moved everyone present in the ground. After this, the students of Fine Arts department surprised everyone by presenting a walk on the waste material ramp. Shri Ram Polytechnic gave a very captivating performance by performing a dhamaka dance on a Bollywood song. After this, the students of Journalism and Mass Communication department gave a strong performance of group dance on the theme of “Retro-Metro” Bollywood mashup. Infinity group presented a thrilling group dance on the theme of Hip-Hop and received a lot of applause. After this, the students of Basic Science department performed a very captivating group dance on the theme of Bollywood mashup. Apart from this, the director of Shri Ram College, Dr. Ashok Kumar was honored with the Best Director Award. In the same category, Dr. Ankur Dhiman, Department of Electrical Engineering was honored with the Best Teacher Award. Along with this, the teachers of the college, Dr. Akansha Nirwal, Pharmacy, Himanshu Verma BBA, Snehlata Garg Applied Science, Dr. Anjali Jhakhar, Agriculture Science, Alina Siddiqui, Home Science Department, Rahul Gautam, Computer Application Department, Piyush Chauhan Mechanical Engineering, Rammanu Pratap Shri Ram College of Law, all these teachers were honored with the Excellent Award.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Vice Chancellor Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur Professor Vimala Y praised the wonderful cultural program presented by the students on the second day of Clerks-2025 organized at Shri Ram Group of Colleges and said that today the performance of the students of Shri Ram College is commendable in other fields along with education. She said that under the guidance of Dr. SC Kulshreshtha, Shri Ram College has achieved a major achievement of A$$ by NAAC and is also rapidly progressing towards becoming an autonomous college. She said that in future, Shri Ram College will be the only college in North India which will be a college with autonomous status. This will be a huge achievement in the field of education.
On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairman Dr. Veerpal Nirwal, who was presiding over the program today, praised the students of Shri Ram College and said that Shri Ram College is one of the leading institutes not only in the state but in the whole of India. Addressing the students, he said that I feel a different kind of enthusiasm and energy by coming among you people in the college.
On this occasion, the students who got place in the merit list of the university and college this year and won gold medals were also honored.
