Computer Science and Engineering Department of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with national level company Soft Pro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Lucknow under Industry-Institute Partnership. The objective of this MoU is to help students in career counseling, training for job opportunities, project advice, research and development and internships and faculty development program for teachers, besides increasing full time employability.
On this occasion, Dr. S.N. Chauhan, Director, Shri Ram Group of Colleges and Yashi Asthana, Chief Executive Officer, Soft Pro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. signed the MoU. Miss Yashi said that the quality of education of students is decreasing day by day due to lack of practical knowledge. Today's student should be one who plays his role positively towards improving the society and the world in the form of a successful career in the future.
Assistant Manager of Softpro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Akshat Pathak said that through this MoU, Softpro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. will provide industrial visits, job training, industrial skill development, training apprenticeship, guest lectures etc. to the students and the said company can use the innovation cell established for research development by Shriram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for its purposes.
Along with the MoU, Softpro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering also established an IoT based Center of Excellence (COE) in the computer lab of the department. With the establishment of the Center of Excellence, the students of Shri Ram Group of Colleges will get the opportunity to do IoT based research in their own college. Through the Center of Excellence, students will not only get success in jobs but will also bring glory to their college in the field of entrepreneurship by getting trained and getting self-employed.
While inaugurating the Center of Excellence, Miss Yashi Asthana, CEO of Soft Pro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. said that today's era is the era of technology in which students need to keep themselves updated continuously. She also said that in the coming times, there are immense career possibilities in Computer Science and Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering is definitely a better option for students than other branches of B.Tech.
On this occasion, the founder chairman of the institution, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha said that this MoU. And the industrial training and exposure provided to students and teachers through the Center of Excellence will increase confidence and help students to make a working career from academics. He told that in today's era, students need to remain constantly updated and the role of internship etc. is important in this.
On this occasion, Dr. Ashish Chauhan, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, said that this MoU is very important for students and teachers, by following this, students can find a better future in the above career in the coming time. This MoU will provide new employment opportunities to the students in the future and the Center of Excellence students will be able to develop themselves all round.
During this MoU, Prof. SN Chauhan, Director of Shri Ram Engineering College, praised all the teachers of the Computer Science and Engineering Department for the successful organization of the program and congratulated everyone. He said that in today's era of industrialization, practical knowledge is necessary along with bookish education and this MoU and Center of Excellence is an important link in the efforts of Shri Ram Group of Colleges to move forward in this area.Professor Engr. Shubhi Verma of Computer Science and Engineering Department of Shri Ram Group of Colleges had a special contribution in making the program successful. On this occasion, teachers like Engr.
