Shri Ram College of Engineering, a unit of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, organized a program called "Tech Fair-2024" on the theme of Innovation and Technology in India. In which about 300 students from more than 70 colleges from different districts participated with 170 working and non-working models. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Pankaj Agarwal, former Municipal Council President, Muzaffarnagar and Special Guest Rajesh Kumar Jain, Chairman Management Committee Digambar Jain Atishya Kshetra Vahlana, Muzaffarnagar and Sanjay Kumar Jain, General Secretary, Management Committee Shri Digambar Jain Atishya Kshetra Vahlana, Muzaffarnagar, Chairman of Shriram Group of Colleges, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Director of Shriram Group of Colleges, Dr. S.N. Chauhan, Director of Shriram College, Dr. Ashok Kumar and Principal of Shriram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal and Director of Shriram College of Pharmacy, Dr. Girendra Gautam by jointly lighting the lamp.
The science exhibition in Tech Fair-2024 was divided into four categories A, B, C and D. Students of class 9 and 10 were included in category A, students of class 11 and 12 were included in category B, students of Polytechnic in category C and students of BACC, BTech and BArch in category D participated in the exhibition. In the exhibition, child scientists from colleges of different districts presented working and non-working models on topics like food health and hygiene, transport and communication, material forming, mathematical modeling and computational thinking, waste management and resource management etc.
In this, the first prize for anti-sleep sensors made for drivers in the working models of “Category A” was given to DAV Inter College, Muzaffarnagar. The second prize was given to BSVM Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for waste management. The third prize was given to SD Girls Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for waste water management. In the category of non-functional models of class A, first prize was given to SD Girls Inter College Muzaffarnagar for waste management. Second prize was given to Government Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for transportation and communication. Third prize was given to Arya Kanya Pathshala Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for waste management and reduce.
In the category of functional models of “B class”, first prize was given to SD Girls Inter College Muzaffarnagar for waste management and resource. Second prize was given to Nawab Azmat Ali Khan Girls Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for electricity generation by waste. Third prize was given to Bhaila Inter College, Bhaila, Saharanpur for peanut cracker machine.
In the category of non-functional models of “B class”, first prize was given to Nawab Azmat Ali Khan Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for resource management. Second prize was given to SD Girls Inter College Muzaffarnagar for trigonometry park. Third Prize was awarded to Jain Kanya Inter College, Muzaffarnagar for Resource and Management of Global Warming.
First Prize in the category of Working Models in “C Class” was awarded to Electrical Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Transmission Line Fault. Second Prize was awarded to Mechanical Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Vegetable Slicer Machine. Third Prize was awarded to Electrical Faculty of Shri Ram Polytechnic, Muzaffarnagar for Wireless Remote Control Panel.
First Prize in the category of Non-Working Models in “C Class” was awarded to Civil Engineering Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Blue Road. Second Prize was awarded to Civil Faculty of Shri Ram Group Polytechnic, Muzaffarnagar for Hydraulic Bridge. Third Prize was awarded to Computer Science and Engineering Faculty of Shri Ram Polytechnic, Muzaffarnagar for Firewall Architecture. In the category of functional models of “D Class”, the first prize was awarded to the Mechanical Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Chopper Bike. The second prize was awarded to the Applied Science Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Water Guard Two in One System. The third prize was awarded to the Electronics Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Radar Detector.
In the category of non functional models of “D Class”, the first prize was awarded to the Architecture Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Urban Design. The second prize was awarded to the Architecture Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Tensile Structure. The third prize was awarded to the Architecture Faculty of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar for Geography Village.
For consolation prize in category A, Mathematical Model of M.M. Inter College, Muzaffarnagar, Waste and Resource Management of Dr. Shivraj Inter College, Muzaffarnagar, Maths Set of SD Girls Inter College, Muzaffarnagar, Rain Water Harvesting, Transport and Communication of Nawab Azmat Ali Khan Inter College, Muzaffarnagar were given.
For consolation prize in category B, Missile Launcher and Free Energy of Vaidik Putri Pathshala Inter College, Muzaffarnagar, Pollution Working Module of Nawab Azmat Ali Khan Inter College, Muzaffarnagar, Bhayla Inter College were given.
