A one day workshop was organized with Softcon India Pvt. Ltd. Gurugram at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shriram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar. The title of the workshop was 'Fundamentals of Data Science and Future Scope'.
The keynote speakers of this workshop were Jaya Nitesh, Marketing Manager, Softcon India Pvt. Ltd. Gurugram and Data Science Expert Sushant. Keynote speaker Sushant told in his session that data science is a field that helps in making useful information and decisions by analyzing, processing and modeling data. Data science is used in various fields such as health, marketing, education and e-commerce where valuable insights are obtained by analyzing data on a large scale. In future, the demand for data science will increase even more with the increasing use of artificial intelligence and automation. Also, he said that this field is full of possibilities for the students in which many new career paths will open such as data analyst, data engineer and machine learning expert.On this occasion, Marketing Manager Jaya Nitesh told the students in detail about multinational companies and also guided them as to how students can get internship and employment in those companies. He said that the quality of education of students is decreasing day by day due to lack of practical knowledge. Today's student should be one who will play his role in improving the society and the world as a future engineer in the future. He said that the modules of internship familiarize the student with his business where he gets the experience of working in real conditions. The student is directly connected to bookish knowledge due to which he is not able to get the knowledge of machinery education, so through internship he gets an opportunity to connect with society and community through school teaching, co-curricular activities, which develops the insight of the student, so internship has become necessary for the future of the student.On this occasion, the founder chairman of the institution, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha said that the industrial training and exposure provided to the students and teachers through such workshops will generate confidence and will help the students to make a working career from academics and praising the workshop organized by the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Shri Ram Engineering College, he said that through such programs, the technical knowledge of the students develops and their confidence also increases and he told that in today's IT based era, students need to remain constantly updated and internship has an important role in this.On this occasion, Dr. S.N. Chauhan, Director of Shri Ram Group of Colleges said that the information given by the expert is very important for the students. By following this, students can find a better future in the above mentioned competitions in the coming time.In this program, Ashish Chauhan, Head of the Department of Computer Science Engineering, appreciated and congratulated all the teachers and told all the students about the key to success through many examples. He told that in today's era of industrialization, it is necessary to have practical knowledge along with bookish education.On this occasion, Professor Engr. Shubhi Verma of the Department of Computer Science Engineering said that such programs will create awareness about their future in the minds of the students of Shri Ram Engineering College and practical knowledge will definitely increase. She told that along with education, such workshops will be organized from time to time in our institute for the future of the students so that the students do not remain dependent on just a degree in the future but move forward in the direction of becoming future engineers professionally.To make the program successful, all the lecturers of Computer Science of Shri Ram Group of Colleges including Engr.
