Various programs were organized on the second day of the 'Diksharambh-2024' program at Shri Ram College of Engineering, a unit of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, in which the program was presided over by Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, while the chief guest of the program was Prof. R.K. Khandal, former Vice Chancellor, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, (formerly UPTU), Lucknow.

The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. R.K. Khandal, Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Director, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Prof. S.N. Chauhan and other guests by lighting the lamp. After this, in order to welcome the guests on the stage, the Director of the Institute, Prof. S.N. Chauhan garlanded the Chief Guest, Prof. R.K. Khandal by draping a shawl on him. Dr. Suchitra Tyagi, Dean of Shri Ram College of Engineering, welcomed Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, by presenting him a bouquet of flowers.

After the welcome, Dr. Akanksha Singh presented the various authentic dimensions of the courses and development of Shri Ram Group of Colleges from the establishment of the college to the current status through a slide show to the students and various guests.

Thereafter, the Director of the institution, Prof. S.N. Chauhan presented the outline of the program and gave the welcome speech in which he addressed the chief guest, other respected guests and B.Tech first year students and said that 'Diksharambh-2024' is an important day in the educational journey of the new students of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar of B.Tech course. All the students have to move forward with a goal-oriented approach. The goal should be clear and realistic. Discipline, patience and continuity of effort are necessary to achieve the goal. Before the speech of the chief guest, glimpses of the life history of Prof. R.K. Khandal were presented through a slide-show by Engr. Ruchi Rai. After this, the chief guest Prof. R.K. Khandal shared his valuable experiences with the students and said that success is the expectation of every human being's life but success is not self-proven rather success is achieved through hard work, disciplined life and dedication. One has to struggle for success. "Where is happiness for the one who wants education and where is education for the one who wants happiness". Education makes one humble. One has to adopt self-restraint, discipline and sacrifice in student life. Throwing light on the usefulness of engineering course, Prof. Khandal inspired the students and said that at present the maximum opportunities are for engineering. There are infinite possibilities in all the branches of B.Tech. Engineers are the builders of society and nation. The 21st century is the century of technology in which innumerable opportunities are spread out in front of you. In his blessings to the students, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, said that knowledge, science and philosophy of life play an important role in personality development. At the same time, attitude, self-steem, conduct and behavior are important links. He told the students the mantras of success. He threw light on the past, present and future of engineering. He interacted with the engineering students and asked all the students to play an important role in enriching the future of the country and society.

On this occasion, Dr. Suchitra Tyagi, Dean of Shri Ram College of Engineering, thanked the chief guest and all the guests. The program was conducted by Dr. Akanksha Singh, Dr. Kapil Dhiman and Engr. Shivani Kaushik.

In this program, Dr. Suchitra Tyagi, Dean of Shri Ram College of Engineering and the heads of all the faculties, Director of Shri Ram College, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Principal of Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Dr. R.P. Singh, Dr. Manoj Dhiman and Dr. Vineet Kumar Sharma and other teachers were present.
