Today, the third phase of the weekly seminar series was organized in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Shriram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar. The title of the seminar series was ‘Importance and Relevance of Computer Science and Engineering in the 21st Century’. The seminar was started by Prof. (Dr.) SN Chauhan, Director of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, who encouraged the students by sharing his experiences. The objective of this seminar series is to guide the students towards various areas of B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Data Analysis, Software Development and Software Testing and Programming and to present their views on various topics. To do. In the seminar, according to the students' interest, the field in which they want to go will be discussed and sufficient information and skills will also be shared in the seminar to make a career in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. In the third phase, the students of the department presented their views on various topics like - Riya Jain of 3rd year presented a presentation on Virtual Reality, Gargi Tyagi shared his views by presenting on the topics of Web Development. Amar Sharma from second year shared his views on Artificial Intelligence and Vishu Pundir shared his views on Cyber Forensics.
On this occasion, the students were guided and motivated by the Head of the Department, Prof. Ashish Chauhan. He told that at present there is a glut of IT related jobs in India and the students have acquired various fields like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security subjects. Theoretical and practical knowledge will definitely be helpful in getting employment in future.
In the end, the Director of the institution, Dr. S.N. Chauhan, while addressing the students, said that in order to continuously take the standards of quality education to a higher level in Shri Ram College of Engineering, so that the students studying in Shri Ram College of Engineering can become world class. This seminar series will act as an effective tool to provide an environment to acquire technical education. The organization formed a panel of more than 50 subject experts from various subjects like Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, GTU, DTU, Delhi, NITTTR Chandigarh, IISTU Delhi and other reputed institutes. From time to time, he will come to Shri Ram Group of Engineering and teach the latest engineering technology and management skills to the students, so that the students of Shri Ram Group of Engineering will get the opportunity to study in comparison to any reputed institute of the country. Dean of the institute, Dr. Suchitra Tyagi, encouraged students to participate in such programs.
At the conclusion of the program, Shubhi Verma, Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and coordinator of the program, praised the participation of all the students and said that in future such seminars will continue to be organized in the department and the department will also keep organizing other programs so that the students can All round development can take place.
