Today, a program named “Electro Spark-2023” was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Shriram College of Engineering, a unit of Shriram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar. As every year the department organizes “Electro Spark” program on various themes, similarly this year also this program was organized on the theme “Automation and Robotics in Department”. In this program students present their new ideas in the form of models. The main attractions of this program were the exhibition of electronics projects by the students, the second magazine of the department and the development center of the department (E.Com Club and Centre).

In the programme, circuitry and programming skills were being presented in the prototypes made by the students. Each prototype was a technical solution to some problem, inspired by industry and everyday problems.

The chief guest of this program was Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges. First of all, the program was inaugurated by the chief guest and he remained present in the program till the end. The teams and main projects of the students in the program were as follows: AI by Shivani and Ali. Adhesive System, Robo Vacuum Cleaner by Priyanshu and Prateek, Smart Dustin by Shashank and Himanshu, Smart Billing System by Sanjana and Varsha, Chandrayaan-3 by Sagar, Shlesh and Harsh etc.

The projects were evaluated by the teachers who came to evaluate the projects. After that, the department's development center E.Com Club and Center and the department's second magazine 'E.Com' were inaugurated. After the inauguration, the chief guest took a tour of the department which included project lab, museum and work station.

In the end, the prize distribution ceremony of “Electro Spark-2023” was organized. Various awards were given in this ceremony, some of which were mainly Best Innovative Projects, Best Presented Project, Best Project for Security, Based on Circuitry, Best Programmer of Department, Chairman's Award, Project with Industry Application and Unique Project of the Year etc. Chief Guest Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha praised the department and the students of the department and inspired them to make more progress in the future and work on the repair technology of electronics.

The college director inspired the students to keep trying and encouraged them for new startups. On this occasion, Dean of the institute, Dr. Suchitra Tyagi and heads of departments of various departments were present. Head of the department, Prof. Kanupriya, Prof. Amit Gupta, Prof. Indu Chauhan, Prof. Ashish Singh, Prof. Bijendra Kumar and Mr. Gagan Tayal etc. were present.
