Trial of inter-college Kabaddi (men) competition of colleges affiliated to Maa Shakumbhari University was organized at Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar in which players from colleges of various districts affiliated to Maa Shakumbhari Saharanpur participated. The chief guest in this Kabaddi (men's) trial competition was Dr. Naresh Malik, Principal, Chhotu Ram Degree College, Muzaffarnagar.

On this occasion, the University was represented by Dr. Sahdevman, Professor, Chhotu Ram Degree College, Muzaffarnagar and Dr. Vijay Kumar, DAV (PG) College, Muzaffarnagar. On this occasion, the Kabaddi (Men) team of Doon College, Saharanpur, Gochar Mahavidyalaya , Hari Institute of Technology, Saharanpur, B.Sc. Government PG College, Kairana, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, SD College, Muzaffarnagar, Chhotu Ram Degree College, Muzaffarnagar participated in the competition.

The trial of Kabaddi (men) was inaugurated by Maa Shakumbhari University representative Dr. Sahdevman, Chhotu Ram Degree College, Muzaffarnagar and Dr. Vijay Kumar, DAV (PG) College, Muzaffarnagar, and chief guest Dr. Naresh Malik, Principal, Chhotu Ram Degree College, Muzaffarnagar, Dr. Prerna Mittal Principal, Shri Ram College, Dr. Vineet Kumar Sharma, Coordinator IQAC, Nishant Kumar Rathi, Dean Computer Application, Pramod Kumar, Head of Physical Education Department and Assistant Teacher of Physical Education Department were duly done.

Head of Department of Physical Education, Pramod Kumar said that the responsibility of organizing the trials of Kabaddi (Men's) inter-college competition was handed over to Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar by Maa Shakumbhari University, in order to which the Kabaddi (Men's) team was selected today for the selection of the university team. Trial match was played. The Kabaddi (men's) team was selected by the university selectors on the basis of the performance of all the players. The Kabaddi (Men) team of the college selected in this trial will lead the team of Ma Shakumbhari University and participate in the proposed North Zone Inter University Kabaddi (Men) category competition from October 19.
