Real-World Financial Scenarios and Complex Investment Strategies

The Department of Business and Management at Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, organized a one-day workshop on the topic "Real-World Financial Scenarios and Complex Investment Strategies." The one-day workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director, Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal, Shri Ram College, and Dr. Saurabh Mittal, Vice Principal, Shri Ram College, jointly lighting a lamp before Goddess Saraswati.

The keynote speaker for the workshop was Amit Pal Singh, Zonal BDM-Mirai Assistance, Sharekhan. He explained to students how they can avoid future financial difficulties by making small savings and investing the money now. He also introduced them to the stock market as part of the financial awareness program. Following this, Himanshu Aneja, an investment counselor at Mirai Assist Sharekhan, provided students with detailed information about SIPs, mutual funds, appropriate investment strategies, and demat accounts. Aneja taught the students practical stock market practices.

Following this, Arun Joshi, branch manager at HDFC Mutual Funds, provided students with tips on banking, savings, and investing. Sudhir Nigam, branch manager from Meerut, and Sachin Kumar, senior zonal manager at Sharekhan, also taught the students the ropes of financial investment and encouraged them to invest and save more.

On this occasion, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, congratulated all members of the Business and Management Department and stated that the department is expected to continue such programs in the future.

On this occasion, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, stated that the objective of this workshop was to mitigate financial challenges in India and to educate students and participants about financial education.

Dr. Saurabh Mittal, Dean and Vice Principal of the Management Block of Shri Ram College, stated that students should continue to participate in such programs to further strengthen their financial education and enhance their all-round development alongside the subject curriculum.

Concluding the program, Department Head Dr. Vivek Kumar Tyagi expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guests, keynote speaker, and all other participants. He encouraged fellow lecturers and students to participate in similar programs in the future.

The program was successfully conducted by Dr. Atul Kumar, Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Business and Management. The programme was made successful with the help of Himanshu Verma, Shivani Sharma, Sagar Shukla, Jatin Singhal, Poonam Sharma, Kapil Deswal, Mamta Mittal, Zeba Tahir, Ankush Rawal, Monica, Tanu Tyagi, Swati Tayal, Archit Kumar, Nishu Verma and Naveen Kumar.
