Seminar organized in Shri Ram College of Law

Today, a seminar was organized on the occasion of International Women's Day in the premises of Shri Ram College of Law. The topic of which was, "Women's Rights and Social Responsibility". Mrs. Nikita Sharma, SDM Muzaffarnagar was present as the chief guest in this program. The program was presided over by Dr. Ravindra Pratap Singh, Principal Chaudhary Harchand Singh College of Law, Khurja. The program was started by lighting the lamp by the guests, and the guests were welcomed by presenting them with a bouquet of flowers.

Beginning the program, the college's spokesperson Anchal Agarwal said that women being empowered does not only mean economic strength but also being physically and mentally strong. The society in which women are not safe can never develop. The safety of women will not be through law but by changing the thinking of the society.

After this, the students of the college also presented their views. Student Megha said that Nari Shakti is the lamp which burns itself and illuminates the society. Tanu Deshwal said that women will be empowered when one woman becomes the strength of another woman and not her rival. Khushi Gehlot said that today's woman will be empowered when she gets respect in the society and not in the temple. Iqra Shamim said that if a woman is determined, then even the ink of history is forced to write her story. Shreya said that women are empowered, there is no need to awaken them. Muskan said that considering women as weak is the biggest disease. Hurain said that women being empowered does not only mean economic strength but also physical and mental strength.

After this, Mini Singhal spokesperson said that the day a woman will consider herself as her identity and not the respect of others, the real change will come.

In the same sequence, as per the orders of Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, students were also sworn in under the program of Pledge for Dowry Free India and Pledge for Drug Free India. Apart from this, according to the program of the college, the speakers also expressed their views on the topic of study college, grow college. Guests were honored by presenting them with mementoes. The Principal of the college Dr. Poonam Sharma expressed her gratitude to the guests.

All the lecturers of the college namely Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Sonia Gaur, Anchal Agrawal, Rammanu Pratap Singh, Aanksha Tyagi, Dr. Heena Gupta, Ritu Dhiman, Mini Singhal, Rakhi Pramod Tupe, Vinay Tiwari, Preeti Chaudhary, Trilok etc. helped in making the program successful.
