The topic of the workshop organized in Shri Ram College was Business Startup and New Product Development

A one-day workshop was organized by the Business Administration Department in Shri Ram College Muzaffarnagar, the topic of which was "Business Startup and New Product Development". This one-day workshop was inaugurated by all the guests by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati. The chief speaker of the workshop was Dr. M. Arif, Chairman of the Commerce Department of Government PG College Deoband.

On this occasion, Dr. Arif started the workshop and said that today's youth, despite being qualified and well-educated, is wandering for employment, which is a big irony for the society. He said that students should try to become job givers and not job takers, only then can the problem of unemployment be eliminated from modern society and the future of the youth can be more secure. He said that it is not enough for the students to just dream big but they should keep trying continuously to fulfill them and also ensure that every effort is in the right direction. Encouraging the students, Dr. M. Arif said that they should first work hard for their own dreams and the dreams of their parents and family and should also contribute to benefiting the society.

During the workshop, he explained the true meaning of startup to the students and told them how they can start a startup which will benefit them financially and also increase their contribution to the society. He said that first of all the students will have to do a deep analysis of the needs and problems of the society and then solve these problems through business startup which will give them double benefit. Firstly, the problem faced by the society will be solved and secondly your startup will also start.

Thereafter, Dr. M. Arif formed ten different groups by grouping the students and asked each group to investigate one social problem. Then the participants of each group together searched for a particular social problem and thus got the students to identify ten types of social problems so that in future also they can pay attention to social problems and try to solve them. After this, while concluding the workshop, he selected three main problems from the ten different problems and handed them over to the students for their solution so that startups can be started on their basis. In this way, the keynote speaker Dr. M. Arif taught the tricks of startup to the students.

On this occasion, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, congratulated all the members of the BBA department and said that the department should continue to organize such programs in future also so that the students can develop in a multifaceted way.

On this occasion, Principal of Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal congratulated all the lecturers of BBA department and said that we keep organizing such programs for the students from time to time in the college so that the challenges coming in their career can be solved and more employment opportunities can be created for them in future.

On this occasion, Dean of Management Block of Shri Ram College, Dr. Saurabh Mittal said that students should keep participating in such programs so that they get help in solving career related challenges and problems.

At the end of the program, Head of BBA Department, Vivek Kumar Tyagi said that students should increase their skills through such programs so that they can develop in a multifaceted way. After that, he thanked the keynote speaker Dr. Mohd. Arif and the special guests and thanked all the fellow lecturers.

The program was successfully conducted by Dr. Atul Kumar. Himanshu Verma, Shivani Sharma, Sagar Shukla, Jatin Singhal, Poonam Sharma, Kapil Deswal, Mamta Mittal, Zeba Tahir, Ankush Rawal, Monica, Tanu Tyagi, Swati Tayal, Nishi Thakur, Nishu Verma helped in organizing and making this program successful.
