In a democratic country like India, the mass medium has taken a huge form through radio and it realizes the concept of democracy due to its wide reach. Even the last person of the society feels the freedom of his expression by listening to its uttered words and freedom of expression is not only necessary for the development of the personality of the people but also for the development of the nation. It is also said that - the magic of voice speaks louder and louder than anyone else's and this magic is used for social and nationalistic purposes which has the potential to sustain radio in the future as well. He also made the children aware of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Press Information Bureau, and Registrar of Newspapers for India. While giving information about radio, he gave very detailed information about all the programmes broadcast on radio. He explained the organizing structure of Akashvani to the students. Radio has remained a powerful tool since its invention in the 1890s. Due to advancement in technology, radio is getting even better features.
In the end, Ravi Gautam, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, thanked Surendra Kumar Adhana, and while addressing the students, said that radio has emerged stronger by absorbing new technologies and adapting to the different tastes of the new generations.
