A two-day inter-college Kabaddi (Men and Women) competition of colleges affiliated to Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur was organized at Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar in which players from colleges of different districts affiliated to Maa Shakumbhari Saharanpur participated. The chief guest of this Kabaddi (Men and Women) tournament competition was Dr. Pragya Singh, Executive Officer, Municipality, Muzaffarnagar.
On this occasion, Maa Shakumbhari University was represented by Dr. Sahdev Man Singh, Chaudhary Chhotu Ram Post Graduate College, Muzaffarnagar.
On this occasion, Kabaddi (Men and Women) teams from Gochar Mahavidyalaya, Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur, IIMT, Saharanpur, Hari College, Saharanpur, RK PG College, Shamli, Government Women College, Kandhla, VSP College, IPS College, Deendayal College, Muzaffarnagar, Choudhary Chhotu Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, SD College of Commerce, Muzaffarnagar, SD College, Muzaffarnagar and Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar participated in the competition.
The Kabaddi (Men and Women) tournament was officially inaugurated by Dr. Sahdev Man Singh, representative of Maa Shakumbhari University, Choudhary Chhotu Ram Post Graduate College, Muzaffarnagar and Chief Guest Dr. Pragya Singh, Executive Officer, Municipal Corporation, Muzaffarnagar and Pramod Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Assistant Teachers of Physical Education Department. On this occasion, Pramod Kumar, Head of Physical Education Department, told that the responsibility of organizing Kabaddi (Men and Women) Inter College Tournament was given to Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar by Maa Shakumbhari University, in which knock out matches of women category were played first. After the knock out matches, league matches of Kabaddi (Women Category) were played. In the Kabaddi (Women Category) match, first place was secured by Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, second place by Government Women College Kandhla, third place by Gochar Mahavidyalaya Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur, and fourth place by IIMTT College Saharanpur. Till the time of writing the news, league matches of Kabaddi (Men Category) were going on.
On this occasion, Principal of Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal got introduced to the players.
