Today, Hunarbaaz face painting competition was organized in Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar under the aegis of Aayam Rashtriya Kala Manch of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the theme of which was face painting - "Atrocities on Women". More than 500 participants participated in it. This competition was organized by Rashtriya Kala Manch Meerut.
The competition was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. SC Kulshrestha, founder of Shri Ram Group of Colleges. About 500 students from various colleges and schools of the city participated in the competition. These included Jain Kanya Degree College, D.A.V. Degree College, S.D. Management College, Bhagwanti Kanya Inter College, Kendriya Vidyalaya School, The S.D. School, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, S.D. Degree College, D.S. Public School, J.P. Public School, Lala Jagdish Prasad College, Government Inter School, Stepping Stone, Golden Public School etc.
On this occasion, two hours were allotted to all the participants to participate in the competition. Within the stipulated time, all the participants presented their creativity and creative skills in a very wonderful manner. The participants presented the given title 'Atrocities on Women' in various ways in which they expressed their feelings using 2D and 3D technology. The teachers who accompanied the participants in the program observed the works and artworks displayed by the students in the Fine Arts Department of Shri Ram and praised the work done by the college students. They also came to know about the courses of Fashion Design, Applied Arts, Textile Design, Painting, and Diploma conducted in Fine Arts and got detailed information about the working of the industries related to these.
At the end of the competition, the participants from various schools and colleges were awarded by the chief guest. First prize was won by Dharana Sharma and Aditi Bhagwanti Girls Inter College and Mubashreen DAV College and second prize was won by Khushi, BSVM and Akshara Bhagwanti Girls Inter College, Kajal from Shri Ram College and third prize was won by Anmol Golden Public School, Shruti, Bhagwanti Girls Inter College and Kartik from S.D. Degree College Muzaffarnagar.
Consolation prizes were won by Kanishka Garg, Alisha Verma Bhagwanti Girls Inter College, Ishika Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Keshav Bhagwanti Girls Inter College, Krishna and Sangam Fine Arts Department, Shri Ram College.On this occasion, Founder of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha praised the participants and said that the participants presented their creativity very well.

On the occasion of the closing ceremony of the program, Director of Fine Arts Department, Dr. Manoj Dhiman expressed his gratitude and thanks to the participants from all the schools and the teachers who came with them and said that through such competitions, students get an opportunity to display their hidden creativity which helps in building their future.
