A tablet distribution program was organized for B.Tech and B.Arch students under Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana at Shri Ram Group of Colleges.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Veerpal Nirwal, President, District Panchayat Muzaffarnagar, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, Dr. RP Singh, Director Research, SRGC, Dr. Girendra Gautam, Director Shri Ram College of Pharmacy and Dr. SN Chauhan, Director, Shri Ram Group of Colleges by lighting the lamp. After this, Chief Guest Dr. Veerpal Nirwal was honored by waving a shawl and giving books. Chief Guest Dr. Veerpal Nirwal, while addressing the students, said that in this era of digital revolution, the tablet distribution scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government is benefiting the youth. And it will have far-reaching results. Tablets are being given to all students without any discrimination. Our youth are using them for gaining knowledge. Students should always remember the objective of this scheme so that the tablet can be used for its intended purpose. He called the Digishakti Tablet Scheme a boon especially for the students coming from rural background and said that the daughters of our rural areas are also using tablets very well and are becoming a part of the digital revolution in the digital age. On this occasion, he said that under the guidance of Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Shri Ram Group of Colleges is creating new dimensions in the field of education and all the necessary facilities are available here for building the future of the students.
Dr. S.N. Chauhan, Director of Shri Ram College of Education, told that tablets were distributed to about 300 students of B.Tech 3rd and 4th year and B.Arch 3rd, 4th and 5th year. All the students are feeling happy after receiving the tablets.
The program ended with the national anthem and the cooperation of Shriram Kumar Sharma 'Ragi', Dr. Manoj Dhiman, Dr. Ravi Gautam, Dr. Suchitra Tyagi, Dr. Vinit Sharma, Mrs. Ruchi Roy, Miss Shubhi, Indu Chauhan, Vijendra Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Pushpendra Singh etc. was there in making the program successful.
