From today, a 7-day workshop 'Ek Kadam Prakriti Ki Aur' was organized in the Fine Arts Department of Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. Its main objective is to connect man and society with nature and take them closer to it. Let us tell you that Shri Ram College has always been running campaigns through drawing seminars, documentary films, street plays and craftsmanship to achieve the above objective.
In this series, a 7-day sculpture workshop and demonstration has been organized by the Fine Arts Department. The director of this 7-day program is the famous sculptor of Odisha, Rishikesh Rana and the spokesperson of the department, Ajit Kumar. In the 7-day workshop, the use of waste roots, wooden steel etc. is being taught to make sculptures. The spokespersons of the department are participating enthusiastically in the sculpture making workshop.
On this occasion, Dr. SC Kulshreshtha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, said that nature is equal to mother. Just as a mother nurtures her children, in the same way nature also nurtures humans. Therefore, every human being should love nature and serving it should be the religion of all of us. He said that if there is nature, there is man. If there is no nature, then the future of man is also in danger. In such a situation, it becomes the duty of man to keep loving nature himself and teach others to love it. He said that Shri Ram Group of Colleges has been continuously organizing such events and campaigns from time to time, which help in making the society aware and creating a balance between nature and human society. On this occasion, Dr. Manoj Dhiman, Director, Fine Arts Department, said that the department has been organizing such programs from time to time through art, which inspires to know nature closely. Dr. Manoj Dhiman said that the message of our responsibilities towards nature should be given to the society. He said that the founder chairman of the institute, Dr. SC Kulshreshtha, has always been inspiring everyone with his love and thoughts towards nature and due to which the Fine Arts Department has been completing such events. In the same sequence, he said that this year also many such schemes have been made so that we can make the society aware about the conservation of nature. Department Head of Fine Arts Department Meenakshi Kakran, Dr. Anu, Binnu Pundir, Reena Tyagi, Rajnikanth, Soni Srivastava, etc. have contributed in making this workshop successful.
