A book release ceremony was organized in the Management Block of Shri Ram College. On this occasion, the book Basic of Advertising and Public Relations, edited by Ravi Gautam, Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Shri Ram College, was released by Dr. S., Founder Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges. Done by C. Kulshrestha. The co-authors of this book are Mayank Verma, Shivani Burman, Kahaksha Mirza.

The program was inaugurated by chief guest and special guest poetess Sunita Solanki, litterateur poet Kirti Vardhan Aggarwal, litterateur Rakesh Kaushik, litterateur Sushil Kumar, Shriram Group of Colleges Chairman Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Shriram College Chairperson Dr. Poonam Sharma, Shriram College Principal Dr. Prerna Mittal. The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Shri Ram College of Engineering Director Dr. S.N. Chauhan, Dean Academics Dr. Vineet Kumar Sharma, Dean Management Dr. Saurabh Mittal etc.

On the occasion of the book release program, the author and editor of the book, Ravi Gautam, said that this book makes the students of journalism and mass communication as well as other fields aware of the basic principles of advertising and public relations and also provides new information about advertising in the competitive era.

Provides detailed information on nuances and techniques. He said that this book is a complete effort in itself for the students interested in the field of public relations. He said that the founder chairman of the institute, Dr. S.C. This book has been completed only due to the inspiration, encouragement and cooperation of Kulshrestha. Thanking the three co-authors Mayank Verma, Shivani Burman, Kahaksha Mirza, he said that the contribution of the three co-authors in the writing and editing of the book is very important.

On this occasion, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. S. Giving good wishes, C. Kulshrestha, while reading the lines of the poem written by him, said that the book wants to say something, wants to stay with you. Speaking further, he said that the book written by Ravi Gautam and his co-authors is very concise. He said that the book is a very informative book not only for journalism but for all fields. He congratulated Ravi Gautam, Mayank Verma, Shivani Burman and Kahaksha Mirza for writing and editing the book and inspired other members of the institute to do similar work.

On this occasion, Principal of Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, while congratulating said that when a writer writes something, his writing becomes a complaint after getting published in the book.
