Shri Ram College of Engineering—a constituent unit of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar—hosted a campus placement drive conducted by Rudra Power Engineering Pvt. Ltd., a renowned company based in Gurugram (with operations in Ghaziabad). Students pursuing B.Tech, Polytechnic, B.Sc., BCA, and MBA programs were invited to participate in this placement process. A joint team comprising the company's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. A.K. Tyagi; company representative, Mr. Lal Singh; and the Head of HR successfully conducted the placement drive, which saw the participation of students from B.Tech, Polytechnic, and various other disciplines. At the commencement of the placement process, Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Vashishth, Director of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, and Mr. Ashish Chauhan, Chief Coordinator of Training and Placement, welcomed the company representatives by presenting them with floral bouquets. The placement process was conducted in three distinct stages. In the first stage, placement team officials provided all candidates with detailed information regarding the company profile, job profile, scope of work, salary structure, and other relevant details. Subsequently, Mr. A.K. Tyagi addressed the students, providing insights into the operations and maintenance aspects of Rudra Power Engineering. He highlighted that Rudra Power is a trusted name in the fields of engineering and contracting services, specializing in providing engineering solutions for thermal power plants, distilleries, sugar plants, chemical units, paper mills, and various other industrial facilities across India. Following this session, a written examination was conducted for the students. Candidates who successfully cleared the written examination proceeded to the interview stage, where they were interviewed by company officials. Based on merit and performance, 37 B.Tech, 12 B.Sc., 13 MBA, 7 BCA, and 7 BBA students were finally selected for placement. The students finally selected included Sanskar, Ayushi, Shubham Chaudhary, Rishabh, Aditya Malik, Nandini, Radhika, and Vanshika Bansal, among others.
Commending the students of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, the selection team remarked that their level of knowledge aligns perfectly with the company's requirements and that all the students are highly disciplined. They also lauded the Placement Cell of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges for its cooperation throughout the selection process. The company issued offer letters with salary packages ranging from 2.4 LPA to 4.8 LPA and invited the selected students to join at their facility located in Ghaziabad.
On this occasion, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, Chairman of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, extended his best wishes to all the selected students and encouraged them in their future endeavors. Mr. Sankalp Kulshreshtha, Secretary of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, further emphasized that students should remain focused and disciplined, and should utilize their time effectively to concentrate on their education so that they may become self-reliant in the future. Therefore, students are encouraged to seize every opportunity by participating in all activities organized by the college and to continue taking part in the placement drives conducted by the institute from time to time.
The Institute's Director, Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Vashishtha, stated that this year, 18 companies conducted on-campus recruitment drives and 25 companies conducted off-campus drives at the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, resulting in the selection of a large number of students. Shri Ram College of Engineering—a constituent unit of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges—is on a continuous path of progress, contributing significantly to the field of technical education not only within the region but also at the national and international levels. The credit for this success goes to the Institute's Founder Chairman, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, whose unwavering dedication to technical and higher education has consistently served as a guiding light. On this occasion, Mr. Firoz Ali (Head, Civil Engineering), Dr. Ankur Kumar (Head, Electrical Engineering), Engr. Kanupriya (Head, Electronics and Communication Engineering), and Mr. Pawan Chaudhary (Head, Mechanical Engineering)—all from the integrated campus of the Shriram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar—expressed their gratitude to the company representatives by presenting them with mementos and extended their best wishes to all the selected students.
The institution's Chief Training and Placement Coordinator, Prof. Ashish Chauhan, expressed his appreciation to the company representatives, urged them to maintain their association with the Shriram Group of Colleges in the future to further strengthen training and placement processes, and congratulated all the selected students.
