A drawing and painting competition was organized under the India Space Week in the Fine Arts Department of Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. The main objective of this competition is to bring awareness about the environment among the students. Students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm.
Giving information on this occasion, Manoj Dhiman, Director of Fine Arts Department of Shri Ram College, said that under the India Space Week, a drawing and painting competition was organized in the Fine Arts Department in which fine arts students participated enthusiastically. And the Fine Arts Department is always ready for such competitions.
On this occasion, students of the Fine Arts Department created artworks by Shri Ram Space Observatory keeping in mind the guidelines of 'India Space Week' for life-consecration costumes and drawing-painting. The artworks made by the students in the drawing-painting competition were uploaded on the online website on February 20, 2024. The result of which will be declared by the committee of India Space and through India Space Week, an amount of Rs 10,000, second prize Rs 5000 and third prize Rs 2500 will be distributed to the winning students. Apart from this, participation certificates will also be distributed to all other participants. He said that it is mandatory for all the students who have participated in this competition to plant trees.
In this competition, the participating students saw Shri Ram worshiping his life, Mother Sita watering the plants, Shri Ram breaking the bow, Shri Ram Lakshman and Mother Sita visiting the forest, Shri Hanuman ji and the five monkey army crossing the Ram Setu bridge. While making, many fascinating artworks have been created on various subjects.
On this occasion, Head of Department of Fine Arts, Meenakshi Kakran said that through this competition, the students have to highlight their art skills. Fine Arts spokesperson Mayank Saini has made a huge contribution in making the students participating in this event fully understand the artworks made by them.
On this occasion, other spokespersons of Fine Arts Department, Binnu Pundir, Anu, Reena Tyagi, Rajnikanth, Ajit Kumar, Sharmistha and Shiva Shankar etc. also contributed.
