Today, a program was organized by Shriram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar and Muzaffarnagar Administration on the occasion of 14th National Voter's Day to make the youth aware about voting in which District Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar Arvind Mallapa Bangari, Additional District Magistrate (Finance) Gajendra Singh, SDM (Sadar) Parmanand Jha, Shri Ram Group of Colleges Chairman Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Shri Ram College Principal Dr. Prerna Mittal, Shri Ram College Director Dr. Ashok Kumar, jointly started the program by lighting the lamp.

On this occasion, District Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar Arvindra Malappa Bangari, while telling the students in detail about National Voter's Day, said that the foundation of the Election Commission of India was laid on 25 January 1950, since then till now the electoral process and voter registration etc. in India. This organization is following the procedures very well but it was seen that people in India were not so aware about voting, for which it was decided to celebrate this day as National Voter's Day from 25 January 2011, which will be celebrated in every polling booth of the country. It is organized on. The objective of which is to connect the youth of India with the voter awareness program so that no voter is deprived of exercising his franchise. He said that every Indian should be proud of his right to vote and understand the importance of voting. He administered the oath to the students and everyone sitting in the auditorium for awareness about voting on the occasion of National Voters' Day and said that India is a young country which is dominated by the youth in the age group of 18 to 35 years and the eyes of the whole world are on this class. It is sustainable because most of the youth have positive thinking towards the nation and they play an important role in bringing revolutionary change, whether it is electing the government or fighting against the evils prevalent in the country. That is why the Election Commission of India is determined to continuously connect the youth with this awareness campaign.

On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate (Finance) Gajendra Kumar, while addressing the students present in the program, inspired them to exercise their voting rights and said that India is the largest democratic country in the world and the superpowers of the whole world are also involved in the voting process here. Believes in iron. We all are aware about voting but are not able to discharge our responsibility properly. Today there is a need for all of us to contribute to nation building by using our vote properly. He said that undoubtedly the voting percentage of Muzaffarnagar has increased at present, but we all should understand the importance of each vote because each vote is made with a lot of hard work and we must go to cast our vote using our right.

On this occasion, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar was honored by the district administration for making students aware about voting and for their cooperation in getting them to vote. Besides, all the booth level officers who helped in casting the vote were also honoured.

On this occasion, Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, expressed his gratitude to the Muzaffarnagar administration and said that it is a matter of good fortune for us that the youth of our college participated in getting the votes cast.

Principal of Shriram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, while addressing the students, said that only a responsible voter can bring awareness among everyone. We have the right to vote, we should use it. It is also our big responsibility to increase the voting percentage. Through which democracy can be further strengthened. On this occasion, Director of Shri Ram College, Dr. Ashok Kumar said that the four pillars of executive, legislature, judiciary and journalism stand strengthening our democracy. We are proud of our democracy. We should understand the importance of voting to further strengthen democracy.

On this occasion, a map of India was made by forming a human chain in the premises of Shri Ram College to make the students aware about voting. The program was successfully conducted by Shruti Mittal, Assistant Teacher, Management Department.
