Welcome 2022

On the third day of the three-day annual program "Colors-2021: GoodBye-2021 & Welcome-2022" organized in Shri Ram Group of Colleges started with colorful programs. The theme of program was based on women empowerment. In the program, many women powers of the city participated in the program and enhanced the beauty of the program.

In the annual colorful programs going on in the sports ground of Shri Ram College, the new year was welcomed with manifold fanfare with positive thinking and youthful enthusiasm. In the new year the whole atmosphere was filled with a new hope. The participants who were performing for three days in the program were rewarded on the basis of their preference. To welcome the new year, the students gave vigorous performances with enthusiasm.The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Sanjeev Balyan, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Milk Production, Dr. Manvendra Pratap Singh, DGM PNB, Mrs. India Runner-up Shaili Kadian, social worker Ashok Batla, Kameshwar Tyagi, Anju Choudhary, Sanjay Agarwal, Nishant Jain and Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges of Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Secretary of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Sankalp Kulshreshtha, Mukta Kulshrestha jointly lit the lamp.Program started by presenting traditional Ganesh Vandana by the students of Polytechnic.

Students of the Fine Arts Department gave a very lively demonstration of the incident of Draupadi Cheerharan based on Mahabharata, giving a message of empowering women and got a lot of applause from the audience. After this, a dance drama based on the heroic Maratha ruler Shivaji Maharaj was staged by the students of Business Administration and painted the crowd in the color of patriotism.After this, a presentation was given by Mukul, a student of Home Science on the theme Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. A group dance based on the theme of education was performed by the students of Pharmacy Department. The students of Computer Application Department made the atmosphere devotional by performing group dance on Hanuman Chalisa. After this, a wonderful presentation of cultural dance was given by the Department of Fine Arts on the famous Mangal-Mangal song. The students of the Law Department infused the spirit of patriotism among the youth by performing on Desh Bhakti songs and slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai started resonating all around.

Best Teacher award for 2020 and 2021 was announced by Shri Ram Group of Colleges on the occasion of New Year. Last year's Best Teacher Award has been given to Ravi Gautam, Head of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and this year's Best Teacher Award has been given to Rishabh Bhardwaj, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Chemistry. Apart from this, the teachers who excelled in teaching were awarded "Excellence Teaching Award", in which Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan,Department of Physical Education, along with Dr. Ritu Pundir, Ruby Poswal, Himanshu Gautam, Jagmehar Gautam, Anuj Dixit, Nitin Gupta, Aleem Zaidi, Tina Agarwal were present. Amardeep, Dept. of Physical Education, was rewarded for maintaining discipline in the college.

After this, the Chief guest of the program, Dr. Sanjeev Baliyan, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Milk Production awarded six gold medalists Ayushi Agarwal, Anmol Tyagi, Sadaf, Shivanshu Kumar, Niharika.

The best presentations of all three days were awarded on the basis of the recommendation of the jury. In Group Dance category, first prize was given to Home Science, second prize to Computer Application and third prize to Polytechnic. Apart from this, a special award in group dance was given to the Department of Biosciences for their presentation on Corona Warriors. In the Musical Act, the first prize was given to the Department of Fine Arts for theatrical staging of Mahabharata, second to Computer Application and third prize to BBA and special prize to Biotech.

In Classic Dance, first prize was given to Ayushi of Fine Arts Department, second prize was given to Riya Verma of BCA and third prize was given to Vaishali of Yogic Science. In solo dance, first prize was given to Gaurav of Basic Science department, second to Sneha Bhardwaj of MJMC and third prize to Kishandas BBA. The first prize for the best dance drama, BCA for Hanuman Chalisa, the second prize for the drama Shivaji, was given to the Polytechnic and the third prize was given to the Department of Fine Arts for Mahabharata Draupadi Cheerharan. First prize for solo singing was given to Bharat Tyagi of Polytechnic, second prize to Ritik Saini of commerce and third prize to Naveen of Law Department. Priyanshi Tyagi, Mau Alim, Sabnur, Mau Shahzad, Humaira Tyagi etc. were rewarded for conducting the stage.
