A Two days "Sansad Khel Spardha 2021" was organized by Shri Ram Group of colleges.
On 22nd November 2021, district final competitions of MP Sports Competition-2021 was inaugurated by Chief Convener Dr. Sanjeev Balyan, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Milk Production, Government of India. . On this occasion, Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State for Vocational Education and Skill Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Umesh Malik MLA Budhana, Sangeet Saum MLA Sardhana, Vijay Shukla District President BJP and Founder Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges Dr. SC Kulshrestha were present.
Dronacharya and Arjuna awardee players Jagmender Singh (wrestling), Arjuna awardee Divya Kakran (wrestling), Murad Ali (shooting), Laxman awardee Gaurav Baliyan (wrestling), Para Olympic Rajiv Malik, Vijay Tomar, Harshpreeti Sehrawat (boxing) Neha Tomar (Shooting), Pooja Tomar, Alankar Saini (Wushu), Padmaveer Singh, Yograj (Kabaddi),
Naveen Chaudhary, Priyanka Pawar, Vijaypal, Gajendra Rana and Kuldeep Kumar, COCT Muzaffarnagar, Gajendra Ahrawat (wrestling) from athletics were given a shawl and a bouquet of flowers by Union Minister Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan and Minister of State Kapil Dev Agarwal and Sardhana MLA Sangeet Som.
Shri Ram Group of Colleges Chairman SC Kulshrestha honored and administered oath to the players and the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp.
The aim of the event was to promote sports facilities and opportunities to reach remote villages so that it may be possible to discover talents who could brought laurels to India on national and international sports platforms.
On the next day Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of Information Broadcasting, Sports and Youth Affairs, Chief Convener of Government of India was welcomed as the Chief Guest of the program.
The winning players in MP sports competition and the Arjuna Awardee and gold medalist players were also honored by Union Sports Minister Shri Anurag Thakur by giving citation, memento etc. to promote sports further.
