Rover Ranger Training Camp
A five-day Rover Ranger training camp was organized at Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. It was inaugurated by Dr. Omveer Choudhary, Dean Academics of the college.
On this occasion, the participants were trained on Flag, Etiquette, First Aid, Army Signs, Whistle Signs and were also provided information about Scout Guide Movement. Various types of rope knotting process was also taught in the camp, which included peg knot, medical knot, tent tying etc. Apart from this, detailed information about first aid was also given in the camp. The camp was conducted by District Organization Commissioner, Scout Bharat Bhushan Arora.
Dr. Omveer Choudhary said that today the responsibilities of Scout Guide have increased. There is a need for skilled training to meet the expectations of the country and the society.
Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, while addressing the trainees said that Rover and Ranger are expected to cooperate in the progress of the country through their training and discipline.
Dr. Nishant Kumar Rathi, Director of Shri Ram College, Dr. Vineet Kumar Sharma, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Ashwari Kumar, Head of Biosciences, Dr. Ashwari Kumar, Rovers Leader Praveen Kumar, Ranger Leader Shivani Pal etc. made special contribution in the successful operation of the camp.
