Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.)
Course Level- Undergraduate
Duration- 4 years
Examination Type- Annual Programme
Eligibility- 12th pass in any stream
Admission Process- Merit/Entrance(45% for Gen/O.B.C., 40% for S.C./S.T.)
The duration of this course is usually 4 years where the first year is known as the foundation
course. The purpose of this intensive foundation course is to familiarize students with the basic
principles of Drawing, Design, Color, Clay modeling, Printing, and Geometry and Perspective as
Practical subjects, and in Theory, History and Appreciation of Art as a compulsory paper, and
English and Hindi languages. In short, the foundation course is common to almost all disciplines of
B.F.A., it acquaints the candidates with a basic idea of what they will be taught extensively in the
subsequent years of their course.
Master of Fine Arts(M.F.A.)
Course Duration: 2 Years
Examination Type : Semester
Minimum Age: No bar
Eligibility:
A candidate seeking admission to the course must have passed the Bachelor’s degree of four years
duration with at least 50% marks (after 10+2) offered by a recognized university. At qualifying
examination, the applicant must have minimum fifty percent marks or equivalent grades. Bachelor
